About the Job

LPN: Allergy

Advanced Specialty Care, P.C. is seeking a Full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to work alongside our team of collegiate allergy providers and clinical team members.

Skills:

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work independently.
Positive outlook and upbeat personality.
Oral and written communication skills.
Detail-oriented, meticulous.
Ability to multi-task.
Use of computers and software programs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Administer immunotherapy injections accurately and efficiently.
Performs percutaneous and intradermal allergy skin testing and specialized testing accurately and efficiently.
Documents emergency measures.
Performs nebulizer treatment and documents in EHR.
Patient education on the proper use of inhalers, EpiPens, and medications.

Requirements:

Active CT LPN State license.
Active BLS Certification.
Must be able to identify and respond to emergencies and support approximately 50-100 pounds.
1+ year experience as an LPN.
Travel to satellite offices.

Schedule:

Full Time: Monday through Friday.
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.

Salary based on experience.

Bonus offered: $2,000 after 6 months of employment; $2,000 after one year of employment.
