Job Summary:
We are looking for a Part-Time Patient Service Representative to join our fast-paced, multi-specialty practice. This role plays a key part in supporting patient care by managing communications, processing documentation, and ensuring smooth administrative operations. We are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Enter referral data accurately and efficiently.
- Answer phones & respond to voicemails in a timely manner.
- Manage incoming fax requests.
- Certified Letters.
- Process patient FMLA paperwork.
- Pre-certifications.
- Receive and process all medical records requests.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of all PHI.
- Assist with administrative tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- HIPPA Compliant.
- Proficient with computers.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Strong data entry skills.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks.
- Able to respond to requests promptly.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Proficient with Electronic Health Records.
Work Schedule:
- In-office (Danbury).
- Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM.
- Up to 28 hours per week.
Compensation:
- Salary based on experience.
